Dr. Nur Aida binti Kipli is the Senior Principal Assistant Director at the Education Malaysia Division, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education since July 2018. Before this appointment, Dr. Aida was a lecturer at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Cawangan SARAWAK from 2004 to 2018. She received her Doctorate in Philosophy (Political Science) from University of Malaya, Malaysia under the Faculty of Economics and Administration. At Education Malaysia Division, Dr. Aida heads the section for Internationalisation Operations Planning that deals with the Education Offices Abroad, policies and strategic planning for the international offices.

Hong earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Portsmouth, UK in 2004 and his B.S and M.S in Computer Science from Kent State University, Ohio in 1996 and 1999 respectively. Hong has expertise in High Performance Computing, Distributed Systems, Computer Architectures, and Big Data Analytics.

Currently appointed as the Deputy Vice Chancellor and Chief Innovation Officer at APU, Professor Ir Viniesh has over 20 years of experience in the field of engineering education, operations, maintenance facilities, design and project management. He also served in the middle east in 2005 to focus on his specialization in building services, property sector (designing and project delivery of sustainable energy and energy efficient buildings. He joined as faculty at APU in 2012, managing more than 6000 students, and emphasizing focus on creating more industrial collaborations with ICT and engineering industries.

Graduated from Northwestern University with degrees in Big Data Analytics and Predictive Business Analytics. Has worked in Big Data as a scientist for nearly a decade.

Graduated from the University of Warwick, UK with a first-class honours degree in Accounting and Finance. Hamzah was formerly an Exco member of the Malaysian Manufacturer’s Association. He was awarded as one of the ‘Top 50 people who are redefining the way we live’ by the Singapore Straits Times in 2018, and ‘Top 40 under 40’ by Prestige Magazine in 2017.

Eiad Yafi is a Senior Lecturer at Malaysian Institute of Information Technology, Universiti Kuala Lumpur. He has received his PhD in Computer Science (Data Mining) from Jamia Hamdard University, India in 2011 and a Master in Computer Applications from the same university in 2004. His research interests are but not limited to Data Mining, Artificial Intelligence, Social Media, Human Computer Interactions and ICT4D.

Manminder Kaur is an award-winning PR practitioner. She is the founder and CEO of Intelectasia. Manminder is Malaysia’s top PR trainer, having trained hundreds of public relations professionals locally and internationally. Her forte is in crisis communications, media relations and on-camera media coaching. She has conducted media training and media coaching for corporate figures from various organizations such as Novartis, UDA Holdings, Khazanah Research Institute, Shell, TM, MaGIC, PDRM, Perbadanan Aset Air Berhad [PAAB] and more. Not a stranger in the local PR scene, Manminder also provides public relations consultancy to billion ringgit conglomerates, GLCs and the private sector. It is no surprise why her insights are often regarded as the best as Manminder combines her background as a journalist (Manminder was with Astro Awani) and PR expertise to give hands-on and strategic media tips to the participants. Manminder holds a Masters in Corporate Communications and recently won the Marketing Excellence Award in Public Relations (Gold Award).

Leong Lai Fong is a research enthusiast, with particular emphasis on 2D Computer Vision, 3D Computer Modeling and Artificial Intelligence.

Frederik Bussler is the CEO of bitgrit, a democratic AI platform directly connecting data scientists to industry problem statements. Before heading bitgrit, he founded a cybersecurity company in the blockchain space named Smart Contract Auditing, co-founded a vertical farming startup named EinFarm to solve sustainability issues, worked as Chief Data Officer for a democratic AI startup in the health space, advised a stock exchange, studied abroad, and worked as an analyst at Maven 11 Capital.
